Location: Northern Spain (North of Huesca). See map underneath. In the national parc Sierra de Guarra.
Family rating: excellent.
Many different limestone crags in a canyon, many of them safe for little kids. Little stream (rio Mascun) in between the crags is a superb playground.
Access: From the campsite Mascun all the crags are at walking distance (10 to 25 minutes). Access feels a bit like trekking because of the beautiful scenery.
Topo guide: topo guides are available in the village (camping Mascun…).
Best season: Spring-Summer-Autumn. Summer can be hot but it is always possible to climb in the shade and the little stream rio Mascun is nearby.
Routes: Ranging from 5 to 8c (most routes are 7a and up but there are enough possibilities for lower grades). Single pitch routes (15 to 40 meters). Mostly powerful and athletic routes (lots of tufas) but there are vertical routes as well.
Multi pitch routes: about 20 (maximum 200 meter).
Routes for little kids/teaching crag: yes.
Accomodation:
Campsite Mascun is right in the village (climbers campsite).
Campsite El Puente is located 800 m before the village.

On rest days:
